Let's summarize the effect of C|net firing Jeff.

1.) A lot of GameSpot users cancelled their subscription as a sign of protest against C|net.

2.) K&L getting and abysmal rating by the members.. Far lower than Jeff's initial rating.

3.) A number of GameSpot parody sites showed up, sites that encourages boycott.

4.) Eidos freaks out, denying that it wasn't them that pressured GameSpot to fire Jeff. C|net does the same.

5.) C|net's inegrity has been put into question.

6.) Big Rigs gets 10/10 rating from people who gave 1/10 rating for Kane and Lynch.

Anymore that I missed?

1) Coincidently someone is fired after giving a mediocre review on a sponsors game.

-Seriously, there's been no proof that I know of of that being the reason they fired him. I think Jeff would probably be pretty vocal on this if he thought it was true.

2) People blow things out of proportion.

3) Cnet and Eidos get a lot of un backed, unneeded flack.
